Map CloudCockpit Offers to Autotask
Follow this guide to map your CloudCockpit Offers to Autotask Recurring Services.
Integrating CloudCockpit with your Autotask Instance requires mapping each Offer, acquired by your Customers, to the corresponding Autotask Services with matching Terms and Billing cycles.
- CloudCockpit does not automatically create Services in Autotask. You must manually create the necessary Autotask Services.
- The Autotask Services needs to be Active.
- Each Autotask Service can only be mapped to one CloudCockpit Offer.
- An Offer with a specific Segment, Term, and Billing Frequency can only be mapped once for each Autotask connection.
- Offers with monthly and annual billing cycles are supported for the integration.
- Legacy license offers are not supported. You should migrate the license legacy subscriptions to license NCE.
- To map an Azure Plan Offer the unit cost and unit price in the Autotask Service must be 0.
- You don't need to map Azure Reservation Offers, the Azure Reservation costs will be summed with the Azure Plan costs as long as you map the Azure Plan subscriptions, as indicated in Map Existing Subscriptions to Autotask
Mapping the Offers
1. In CloudCockpit, navigate to Administration > Connectors.
2. Locate the Autotask Instance and click on
to open the actions dropdown. Choose the
Offer Mapping action.
3. In the Offer Mapping page, search for specific offers:
- The Offer's ID from the provider's side is displayed beneath the Offer name.
- If a specific Offer does not appear listed on the Offer Mapping page, try disabling Hide Mapped, as the Offer might be filtered out because it was previously mapped to an Autotask Service.
- The Offer Mapping page only shows Offers that were already acquired by your Customers.
4. For each Offer you want to map:
- Click the icon
- Locate the Autotask Service. Results are filtered by the Offer's Billing Frequency
Searching for an Autotask Service requires using the exact initial words of the Service name.
5. After selecting the correct Service, click Map to complete the mapping.
Confirming Successful Mapping
To confirm that a customer was successfully mapped:
1. Navigate to Administration > Audit Logs in CloudCockpit
2. Look for operation Create Connection Offer Mapping
3. Review the status and details of this operation to ensure it has completed successfully
