Customers must accept the Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA) before Microsoft services can be activated or managed.
The MCA attestation process in CloudCockpit ensures compliance across all customer tenants.
MCA Attestation
1. In the Customer account, locate the Microsoft customer agreement section and click Start MCA attestation.
2. Enter the primary contact’s details: First name, Last Name, Email, Phone.
3. Click Create attestation to generate the MCA acceptance link.
4. Send the link to the Customer using your preferred method (chat, email, etc).
5. The Customer opens the link, reviews the MCA terms, and clicks Accept Agreement.
6. Once the Customer has accepted the MCA, return to the Customer account page and click Create Agreement to finalize the process.
7. Once finalized, you can transact and manage Microsoft services for the Customer.

Q: What happens if the customer does not accept the MCA?
A: Microsoft services cannot be activated or managed until the Customer accepts the MCA and the agreement is finalized.
Q: Can I still use the Partner Center UI for MCA attestation?
A: No. After January 5, 2026, only API-based MCA attestation is supported.
Q: How do I know if a customer’s MCA is pending or expired?
A: The MCA dashboard provides real-time visibility into each Customer’s status, including pending, expired, and compliant agreements.
